Deep contour work in a rounded profile needs reach and heat resistance both, and the 8010-ALTiN offers them together. This 1/2" diameter 4-flute ball end mill comes from the 8000 Profile Series, with a full 6" overall length aimed at pockets and profiles a shorter tool can't touch.
ALTiN coating adds protection against the extra heat that longer-reach tools tend to generate, especially on jobs that run for a while without a break. The .250" radius rounds out surfaces cleanly, and the 30° helix keeps the geometry consistent across mild steel, stainless, cast iron, titanium, non-ferrous metals, plastics, and composites.
