Product Overview
The CGS Tool BN2066-S comes in a 1” diameter, 2-flute solid carbide ball end mill, sort of meant for high-speed machining of aluminum non-ferrous metals, plastics, and composites. It’s part of the BN2000 Series Ferocious and it gives exceptional material removal rates, smoother surface finishes, and dependable cutting in tougher CNC milling jobs.
Made from premium solid carbide, the BN2066-S has CGS Tool’s own 55° high helix geometry for better chip evacuation, and lower cutting forces. The precision ground ball end part is great for contouring, profiling, and 3D surface machining, even when the passes are pretty aggressive. Plus the ZrN coating helps curb built-up edges, and it tends to stretch tool life in aluminum plus other non-ferrous work. Overall the optimized geometry supports faster feed rates, and it improves machining efficiency too.
