The CGS Tool CR2030.125-S ,is a 1/2” diameter 2-flute solid carbide corner radius end mill built for speedy machining of aluminum, non-ferrous metals, plastics , and composites . It sits in the CR2000 Series called Ferocious, and it brings solid cutting ability, better edge staying power, and great surface quality for tight tolerance CNC milling work.
Made from premium solid carbide , the CR2030.125-S has CGS Tool’s own 55° high helix profile, which helps with chip evacuation and keeps cutting forces lower . The corner radius shape helps tool life too, because it reduces stress hotspots right at the cutting edge, which can mean less chipping and a cleaner finish . On top of that , the ZrN coating boosts wear resistance, cuts down built-up edge formation, and stretches tool life when you’re working with aluminum and other non-ferrous materials.
