Product Overview
The CGS Tool CR2033.030-S is a 1/2” diameter, 2-flute solid carbide corner radius end mill, made for high-speed cutting in aluminum, non-ferrous metals, plastics and composites. And as part of the CR2000 Series Ferocious, it is supposed to give strong cutting ability , better edge staying power, and a really nice surface finish for precision CNC milling where tolerances matter.
It’s built from a top grade solid carbide blank, and the CR2033.030-S includes CGS Tool’s own 55° high helix geometry. This setup helps with chip removal ,and it also aims to lower cutting forces. The corner radius style adds durability too, because it helps reduce stress concentration near the cutting edge, which in turn helps minimize chipping and keeps the surface finish more consistent.
