Product Overview
The CGS Tool CR2033.060-S is a 1/2” diameter 2-flute solid carbide corner radius end mill, and it’s made for high speed machining of aluminum, non-ferrous metals, plastics, and composites. As part of the CR2000 Series Ferocious, this tool tends to push strong cutting performance, better edge durability and pretty good surface finish quality for those precision CNC milling applications, you know.
Built from premium solid carbide, the CR2033.060-S includes CGS Tool’s own 55° high helix geometry, which helps with chip evacuation, and also lowers cutting forces, slightly. The corner radius shape helps durability too, because it reduces stress concentration right at the cutting edge, cuts down chipping, and keeps the surface looking consistent. The ZrN coating adds more wear resistance, reduces built-up edge, and basically stretches the overall tool life when you’re running aluminum and other non-ferrous workpieces.
