The CGS Tool HV140-1250 has a 1/8” diameter, 4-flute solid carbide square end mill. It’s made for high performance machining in steels and different alloys, and you can use it for roughing or finishing, depending on what you need. It comes from the Hi-Velocity (HV) Series so it’s built to give that kind of power, fast travel, and tight accuracy, not just ok results.
Made from a premium micro-grain carbide blank, the HV140-1250 has a variable helix, plus a variable index geometry, along with an ALTiN coating. Together they bring strong heat resistance and longer tool life when you run it at high RPM. The free-cutting style helps the surface finish, and it also supports chip evacuation. At the same time it helps reduce chatter , vibration and wear , so machinists can nudge feeds and speeds upward without losing accuracy, or that clean dimensional control people want.
