The CGS Tool HV140-6251 has a 5/8” diameter, 4 flute, solid carbide square end mill made for high performance machining in steels and alloys. It’s set up in the Hi-Velocity (HV) Series so you get this strong mix of speed, precision , and overall rigidity for both roughing and finishing jobs.
Built from premium micro-grain carbide, the HV140-6251 comes with a variable helix plus a variable index geometry. Then you add the ALTiN coating for serious heat resistance and longer tool life especially when you’re running high RPM. The free cutting style helps with smoother surface finish, better chip evacuation too, and it also keeps vibration and wear down, so machinists can push feeds and speeds further without losing accuracy.
