The CGS Tool HV140-5002 has a 1/2” diameter, 4-flute solid carbide square end mill, made for high-performance machining in steels and alloys. It’s part of the Hi-Velocity (HV) Series, and it’s built to bring that kind of strength, speed, and accuracy that’s hard to match, for roughing and finishing too.
Made from premium micro-grain carbide, the HV140-5002 includes a variable helix, plus a variable index geometry, paired with an ALTiN coating. That combo gives you better heat resistance and longer tool life especially when you’re running high RPM. The free-cutting setup helps with surface quality and chip evacuation ,and it also helps reduce chatter , vibration and wear, so machinists can advance feeds and speeds more, without losing accuracy or control.
