Product Overview
The CGS Tool HV140-1876 has a 3/16” diameter, 4 flute, solid carbide square end mill sorta engineered for high performance machining in steels and alloys. It’s built as part of the Hi-Velocity (HV) Series, so it gives you that unmatched strength, speed, and precision for both roughing and finishing jobs, at the same time.
Made from premium micro grain carbide, the HV140-1876 includes a variable helix and a variable index geometry with an ALTiN coating for solid heat resistance, and a longer tool life when you’re running high RPM. The free cutting design helps with surface quality and chip evacuation as well, while also cutting down vibration and wear . Because of that, machinists can push feeds, speeds even farther, without giving up accuracy.
