Product Overview
The CGS Tool HV140-3125 has a 5/16” diameter 4 flute solid carbide square end mill ,made for high performance cutting when you’re in steel and dealing with a bunch of different alloys too. It comes out of the Hi-Velocity (HV) Series, and it kinda wants to give you that whole “can’t beat it” vibe in strength, speed, and precision for the roughing type jobs, and also the finishing tasks.
It’s built from premium micro grain carbide, the HV140-3125 uses a variable helix and a variable index style layout, then it’s finished with an ALTiN coating so you get serious heat resistance plus a longer tool life when the RPMs are running high. The free cutting style helps with nicer surface quality and faster chip removal , while also dialing down vibration and lowering wear so machinists can go ahead and push the feeds and speeds harder without losing accuracy.
