Product Overview
The CGS Tool HV140-3126 has a 5/16” diameter, 4 flute solid carbide square end mill, made so you get high-performance cuts in steels and other alloys. It’s part of the Hi-Velocity (HV) Series, and it just manages to keep bringing that kind of strength, velocity, and precision for both the roughing side and the finishing side, too.
Built from premium micro-grain carbide, the HV140-3126 has a variable helix , plus a variable index geometry, and then it’s finished with an ALTiN coating. That combination helps with heat resistance and longer tool life, especially when you’re running high RPM . The free-cutting approach helps with surface finish and chip evacuation, while also cutting down on vibration and wear, so machinists can push feeds and speeds further, without giving up accuracy.
