Product Overview
The CGS Tool HV140-3752 has a 3/8" diameter, 4-flute solid carbide square end mill, made for high performance cutting in steels and alloys and all that. It comes from the Hi-Velocity (HV) Series , so you get this real strong combo of strength, quickness, and accuracy, for both roughing and the final finishing part.
Built out of premium micro-grain carbide, the HV140-3752 uses a variable helix plus a variable index form, and it has an ALTiN coating too, which gives it better heat resistance, and longer tool life even when RPM is high. The free-cutting style helps with surface quality, and chip evacuation, while also keeping vibration and wear smaller, so machinists can raise feeds and speed even more, without losing accuracy.
