Product Overview
The CGS Tool HV140-4375 has a 7/16” diameter, 4 flute solid carbide square end mill and it’s meant for high performance machining in steels and alloys. It comes from the Hi-Velocity (HV) Series but honestly it feels built to do more than just run, it gives that strong combo of strength, speed and precision for roughing, and also for finishing.
Made from premium micro-grain carbide , the HV140-4375 has a variable helix plus variable index geometry, then it’s finished with an ALTiN coating so heat resistance stays strong and tool life holds up at high RPM. The free-cutting design helps with surface finish and chip evacuation, it also keeps vibration and wear lower, so machinists can push the feeds and speeds even further, without giving up accuracy.
