Product Overview
The CGS Tool HV140-7502 has a 3/4” diameter 4 flute, solid carbide square end mill made for high performance machining in steels and alloys. It comes from the Hi-Velocity (HV) Series, so you get this kind of unmatched strength, speed and accuracy, for both roughing and final cuts… depending on what your setup needs.
Built out of premium micro-grain carbide, the HV140-7502 uses a variable helix plus a variable index geometry, and then there’s an ALTiN coating on top for great heat resistance and longer tool life even when you’re running high RPM. The free cutting style helps with better surface finish and chip removal too, but it also keeps vibration and wear lower. So machinists can push feeds and speeds further, without losing that accuracy you care about.
