The CGS Tool M2166-S is the 25mm diameter, 2-flute solid carbide square end mill, made for high speed machining especially when you’re working with aluminum, non ferrous metals, plastics, and composite materials. It’s part of the 2000 Series Ferocious , and it’s built to push out strong chip evacuation plus aggressive removal rates, while still keeping reliable machining performance in tough CNC milling situations.
Made from premium solid carbide, the M2166-S uses CGS Tool’s own 55° high helix geometry, and this helps the chip flow move the right way, lowers cutting forces, and lets you run more assertive feed rates. With the square end design you get clean and accurate cuts, so it works great for slotting, pocketing, profiling, contouring, and also for finishing tasks. You’ve got a 38mm length of cut, with a 100mm overall length, giving you the kind of reach you need for deeper machining jobs, but it also stays pretty rigid and stable during cutting. The ZrN coating, in particular, boosts wear resistance, helps minimize built up edge formation, and supports better machining results when cutting aluminum and other non ferrous stuff.
