Product Overview
The CGS Tool MX143-5001.060 is basically a 1/2” diameter 4-flute solid-carbide corner radius end mill made for precision cutting, especially in hardened steels, stainless steels, cast iron, titanium, Inconel, Hastelloy and other, more exotic alloys. It’s part of the VMAX MX143 Series, and the idea is to keep machining stable, smoother surface finishes, and overall long-lasting results even when your CNC milling gets pretty demanding.
The MX143-5001.060 uses a advanced variable helix and also variable pitch shape, which helps reduce chatter and those machining harmonics that can get annoying. That means the cut feels more even, and machining efficiency is improved. On top of that it has a high-performance nACRo coating for strong protection against heat and wear, plus the .060” corner radius helps reinforce the cutting edge so it can handle heavy material removal without giving up too fast.
