The CGS Tool MX143-5001.090, is basically a 1/2” diameter, 4 flute solid-carbide corner radius end mill, made for those demanding machining jobs where you’re working with hardened steels, stainless steels , cast iron , titanium, Inconel, Hastelloy and other kinds of exotic alloys. And since it’s in the VMAX MX143 Series, it tends to keep machining stable, give better surface finishes too, plus it helps with longer tool life during high-performance CNC milling, or so it’s meant to do.
On the MX143-5001.090 side of things, it uses advanced variable helix and variable pitch geometry, which in practice reduces chatter and cutting harmonics, so you get a smoother cut and more efficient material removal.
