Product Overview
The CGS Tool MX143-6250.015 is basically a 5/8” diameter, 4-flute solid-carbide corner radius end mill made for pretty demanding machining work where you’re cutting hardened steels, stainless steels, cast iron, titanium, Inconel, Hastelloy, and other fancy or exotic alloys. Being part of the VMAX MX143 Series it tends to hold steady during machining, gives a nicer surface finish, and it lasts longer especially in high-performance CNC milling operations, you know the kind of work where things have to stay consistent.
The MX143-6250.015 also has advanced variable helix and variable pitch geometry which helps lessen chatter and cutting harmonics, so the feed feels smoother and the material removal stays more efficient. And then there’s the premium nACRo coating, it provides strong heat resistance and wear resistance, while that .015” corner radius helps reinforce the cutting edge for better reliability when you’re running aggressive milling.
