Product Overview

The CGS Tool MX260-3125 is, uh, a 5/16” diameter, 6-flute solid-carbide square end mill meant for high-performance machining stuff, especially when you’re working with hardened steels, stainless steels, cast iron, titanium, Inconel , Hastelloy , and other, more unusual alloy types. Being part of the VMAX MX260 Series , it tends to bring strong machining stability , nicer surface finishes, and a longer tool life even when the CNC milling job gets really demanding.
The MX260-3125 also uses a more refined variable helix and variable pitch setup, which kind of helps to cut down on chatter, and vibration harmonics too, so the cut feels smoother overall and the material removal stays efficient. It has that premium nACRo high-performance coating, so you get good heat resistance and wear protection, and the 6-flute layout supports higher feed rates, which boosts throughput during high-speed milling operations, pretty straightforward really.
