Product Overview
The CGS Tool MX260-1875 is basically a 3/16” diameter, 6-flute solid-carbide square end mill made for high performance machining. It’s meant for stuff like hardened steels, stainless steels , cast iron, titanium, Inconel, Hastelloy and other unusual alloys that tend to be difficult. Being part of the VMAX MX260 Series , this little cutter ends up giving strong machining stability, nicer surface finishes, and a longer service life when you’re running CNC milling that’s really demanding.
On the MX260-1875, you get a more advanced variable helix plus variable pitch style of geometry that helps reduce chatter and those cutting harmonics, so it runs smoother and you can remove material in a more efficient way. It also has a premium nACRo high performance coating, which supports heat resistance and wear protection. The 6-flute construction helps you push higher feed rates too, boosting productivity especially during high speed milling operations.
