Product Overview
High performance ball-end milling lives on the idea that strength and speed should cooperate, not fight each other, and the HV742-7500 really gives both at a 3/4" diameter. This 4 flute ball end mill, comes out of the Hi-Velocity HV Series… built for high performance milling where rigidity, cutting pace, chip evacuation, and surface finish all have to play nice together
Made from solid micro grain carbide, with a variable helix geometry, and an ALTiN coating, this tool is aimed at controlling heat and cutting down chatter when things get intense on CNC. It has a 2-1/4" length of cut and a 5" overall length, so the HV742-7500 works well for roughing and finishing, plus it handles deeper ball-end work too.
