The CGS Tool 1003-ALTiN is a 3/16" diameter 4-flute solid carbide square end mill from the Beast 1000 Series, sized for roughing and slot milling where a smaller cutter still needs to remove material quickly under demanding feed conditions. It's built for efficiency in a compact package.
CGS Tool's Beast chip breaker design is matched to reduce spindle load and support faster feeds than traditional roughing tools, and the ALTiN coating adds heat and wear resistance on top of that. Rated for steels, stainless, cast iron, titanium, alloys, Inconel, and select non-ferrous materials, it holds up well in demanding conditions.
