General purpose milling using a 1/2" diameter, edge life built in — the CGS Tool 120-5000-ALTiN is, basically a 2 flute square end mill from the 120 Series made for slotting, profiling, pocketing and everyday CNC tasks.
That 2 flute design gives good chip room, and the ALTiN coating shields the cutting edge from heat, and wear. Made from solid carbide, it copes with mild steels stainless steel, cast iron, titanium, non ferrous materials, plastics and composites.
