So the CGS Tool 142-2969-ALTiN, it yeah uses that same 19/64" 142 Series ball end profile, but it then adds ALTiN , a like for a bit more edge life—useful when you’re doing longer runs.Its a 4-flute cutter, made for easy contouring, profiling, and final finishing where radius accuracy matters a lot.
The ball nose handles curved surface work cleanly, and ALTiN coating protects the edge as cuts get more demanding. Solid carbide strength runs it through mild steels, stainless, cast iron, titanium, non-ferrous materials, plastics, and composites.
