Product Overview
The CGS Tool 2003 has a 3/16” diameter, 2-flute solid carbide square end mill, made for fast and more material removal and also super surface precision, especially in aluminum, other non ferrous metals, and plastics. It comes from the Ferocious Series, which is made for machinists who need high performance when they run at extreme feed rates.
It’s manufactured using premium sub micro grain carbide, and the 2003 has a 55° high helix angle, which helps a lot with chip evacuation, plus it lowers cutting forces, and nice surface finishes. The polished cutting edges and free cutting style geometry help cut down built up on the edges, without sacrificing the tool’s life, even when working with high speed CNC operations.
