Product Overview
The CGS Tool 2018-S has a 3/8” diameter 2-flute solid carbide square end mill made for maximum material removal plus surface precision in aluminum, non ferrous metals, and plastics. Coming from the ferocious series, it is built for machinists that want really high performance even when they run extreme feed rates.
Manufactured with premium sub-micro grain carbide, the 2018-S includes a 55° high helix which helps with better chip evacuation, less cutting pressure, and really consistent surface finishes. The polished cutting edges, paired with a free-cutting style geometry, helps reduce built-up edge, while still keeping tool life outstanding, even for high speed CNC work.
