The CGS Tool 2018 has a 3/8” diameter, 2-flute solid carbide square end mill, made to squeeze out maximum material removal and still keep surface precision especially in aluminum, non-ferrous metals and plastics. It comes from the ferocious series, so it’s aimed at machinists who want high performance at those extreme feed rates, you know?
Manufactured with premium sub-micro grain carbide, the 2018 has a 55° high helix that helps with better chip evacuation, lower cutting forces, and cleaner surface finishes. The polished cutting edges along with its free-cutting shape, help reduce built-up edge, and that in turn helps with exceptional tool life, even when it’s running high speed CNC jobs.
