Product Overview
The CGS Tool 2039-S, has a 1/2” diameter 2-flute solid carbide square end mill. It is made for maximum material removal, but also surface precision, in aluminum, non-ferrous metals, and plastics. It comes from the ferocious series, so it is aimed at machinists who want top-level performance even when running at extreme feed rates, you know.
Made using premium sub-micro grain carbide, the 2039-S includes a 55° high helix that helps with chip evacuation, it also helps lower cutting forces and it delivers a really clean finish. The polished cutting edges, plus a free-cutting geometry, work together to minimize built-up edge, while still keeping exceptional tool life, even when you’re pushing high-speed CNC jobs.
