Product Overview
The CGS Tool 2054-S comes in a 5/8” diameter, two flute solid carbide square end mill. It is pretty much made for maximum stock removal and careful surface precision in aluminum, non-ferrous metals, and even plastics. From the ferocious series, this tool is aimed at machinists who need serious performance at extreme feed rates , not just “okay” results.
Made using premium sub-micro grain carbide, the 2054-S uses a 55° high helix so you get better chip evacuation, less cutting load , and those clean surface finishes that matter . The polished cutting edges plus the free-cutting geometry help cut down on built-up edges , while still keeping a strong tool life, even when it’s high speed CNC work and the path stays aggressive.
