Product Overview
The CGS Tool 222-2500 is a 1/4" diameter 2-flute solid carbide ball end mill from the 222 Series, sized for shops that want a clean radius cut for contouring and pocket shaping without stepping up to a 4-flute tool. It sits in that useful spot between a fast-cutting 2-flute geometry and the finer finish a ball nose provides.
Built on the same precision CNC equipment as CGS Tool's other general-purpose lines, it holds a 30° helix and a .125" radius matched to its diameter. Uncoated and rated across mild steels, stainless, cast iron, titanium, non-ferrous metals, plastics, and composites, it's a practical everyday choice for surface blending and finishing.
