Product Overview
The CGS Tool 2509-S has a 1/4” diameter, 2-flute solid carbide square end mill. It is meant for max material removal, plus really clean surface precision in aluminum, non ferrous metals and plastics. It comes out of the ferocious series, and it’s kind of made for machinists who want high performance at those extreme feed rates.
Made from premium sub micro grain carbide, the 2509-S has a 55° high helix, so you get better chip evacuation, less cutting force, and really solid surface finishes too. The polished cutting edges and a free-cutting geometry help prevent built-up edges, while still keeping exceptional tool life, even during high-speed CNC work.
