The CGS Tool 2518, is like a 3/8” diameter, 2-flute solid carbide square end mill. It os made for maximum material removal and decent surface precision, especially in aluminum , non ferrous metals and plastics. It comes from the Ferocious Series, so it’s built for machinists who want top tier results at extreme feed rates, no question.
Made from premium sub-micro grain carbide, the 2518 includes a 55° high helix, for better chip evacuation, less cutting force, and really clean surface finishing. The polished cutting edges and free-cutting geometry help reduce built-up edge, while it still holds up well tool life wise, even with high-speed CNC work.
