Product Overview
The CGS Tool 2536-S has a 1/2” diameter, 2-flute solid carbide square end mill. It is made for high speed machining, especially on aluminum, copper, brass, plastics, composites and other non ferrous stuff. And yeah , as part of the high performance 2500 Series Ferocious, this tool is meant to really push up material removal rates, boost machining efficiency and still give you great surface finishes even when the CNC job is intense and picky.
Built from premium solid carbide, the 2536-S uses CGS Tool’s own 55° high helix geometry, and that geometry helps with chip evacuation in a clean way, less cutting force, and a smoother cutting action. Then the premium ZrN (Zirconium Nitride) coating comes in, adding better wear resistance and reducing material adhesion. That means less built up edge, plus an overall longer tool life. Put together, this combo lets machinists run aggressive feed rates and high spindle speeds, without losing precision or reliability, even after a lot of passes.
