Product Overview
The CGS Tool 440-3125 is basically a 5/16" diameter 4-flute solid carbide square end mill, and it uses a double-end design so you can get more value out of it. It’s made for general-purpose milling, where a sharp square-end finish, along with that extra tool life, really both matter.
It has a 1/2" length of cut and an overall length of 2-1/2", and with that setup it tends to keep things steady in slots, profiles, plunge cuts , and side wall jobs. The uncoated carbide body also makes it a pretty practical pick for standard CNC shop conditions, across mild steels , stainless, cast iron, titanium, non-ferrous metals, plastics and composites.
