Product Overview
The CGS Tool 5360-S is basically a 3/4" diameter 3-flute solid carbide square end mill from the Ferocious 3x 5300 Series, made for aluminum and nonferrous machining, where aggressive stock removal has to happen alongside a clean surface.
The ZrN coating helps with cleaner cutting during aluminum heavy work, and the variable helix, variable pitch, and wiper end geometry all together lower chatter and harmonics, sort of in a smoother way. With a 2-1/2" length of cut and a 5" overall length, it also gives you that extra reach for bigger nonferrous jobs.
