Deep pocket work needs reach, and the 7008-ALTiN is built with a full 6" overall length to get there. This 3/8" diameter 2-flute ball end mill comes from the 7000 Profile Series, CGS Tool's line for jobs where a standard-length cutter simply can't access the feature.
An ALTiN coating adds heat and wear resistance, which matters more on longer-reach tools since they tend to run hotter than shorter ones under the same load. The .1875" radius produces a smooth rounded cut, and the 30° helix keeps the geometry consistent through mild steel, stainless, cast iron, titanium, non-ferrous metals, plastics, and composites.
