The CGS Tool 8008-ALTiN is a 3/8" diameter 4-flute solid carbide ball end mill from the 8000 Profile Series, sized for profile, deep pocket, and contour milling where extra reach and a smooth rounded form both matter. Its 6" overall length is what sets it apart from a standard-length version.
Built on the same precision CNC equipment as CGS Tool's other general-purpose lines, it holds a 30° helix and a .1875" radius matched to its diameter, with an ALTiN coating built for standard-length ball end mills that can't reach the feature. Rated across mild steels, stainless, cast iron, titanium, non-ferrous metals, plastics, and composites, it's steady in extended cuts.
