Full-size general-purpose milling with real reach, that's what the 840-1000-ALTiN brings at a full 1" diameter. This 4-flute square end mill carries a 3" length of cut and 6" overall length, aimed at deeper slots, tall side walls, and extended profile work.
ALTiN coating adds resistance against heat and wear, useful when the added reach and diameter combine to generate heavier cutting pressure than a shorter tool would see. With a 30° helix and single-end design, the 840-1000-ALTiN handles mild steel, stainless, cast iron, titanium, non-ferrous metals, plastics, and composites at depths a standard tool can't touch.
