Product Overview
The CGS Tool 842-2500 is a 1/4" diameter 4-flute solid carbide ball end mill from the 842 Series, sized for contouring and deeper ball-end milling where a small cutter still needs extra reach. Its longer 1-1/2" length of cut is what separates it from a standard-depth version.
Built on the same precision CNC equipment as CGS Tool's other general-purpose lines, it holds a 30° helix and a .125" radius matched to its diameter for simple, dependable everyday cutting. Uncoated and rated across mild steels, stainless, cast iron, titanium, non-ferrous metals, plastics, and composites, it handles smoother radius cuts with ease.
