Product Overview
The CGS Tool BN2006-S comes in as a 1/4” diameter, two-flute solid carbide ball end mill that’s meant for high-speed machining of aluminum, non ferrous metals, plastics and composites. It’s part of the BN2000 Series, Ferocious, and it tends to push exceptional material removal rates, kind of smooth surface finishes, and dependable output when you’re running tough CNC milling jobs ,every day.
Built out of premium solid carbide ,the BN2006-S has CGS Tool’s own 55° high helix geometry which helps with chip evacuation, and also cuts down the cutting forces at the same time. The precision-ground ball end form works well for contouring profiling, and that 3D surface style of work. Then there’s the ZrN coating that helps reduce built-up edge and it also supports longer tool life in aluminum and other non ferrous materials. Overall, its advanced geometry supports more aggressive feed rates and higher machining efficiency.
