Product Overview
The CGS Tool BN2057-S comes in a diameter 2 flute solid carbide ball end mill built for fast speed machining, especially aluminum and other non ferrous metals, plus plastics and composites. It’s part of the BN2000 Series Ferocious line, and in practice it gives you standout material removal rates, smooth surface finishes, and dependable operation when you throw it into demanding CNC milling work.
Made from high quality solid carbide, the BN2057-S uses CGS Tool’s own 55° high helix geometry, which helps with chip evacuation that feels really efficient and it also keeps cutting forces down a bit. The ball end shape, which is precision ground, is well suited for contouring, profiling, and doing 3D surface machining. On top of that, the ZrN coating helps reduce built-up edge and it tends to extend tool life, especially in aluminum and other non ferrous materials. The geometry here supports more aggressive feed rates, and it boosts machining efficiency overall too.
