Product Overview

The CGS Tool CR2033.090-S is a 1/2” diameter, 2-flute solid carbide corner radius end mill, made for high-speed machining on aluminum non-ferrous metals plastics and composites. And as part of the CR2000 Series Ferocious, it gives a solid cutting grunt, better edge endurance, and also nice surface finishes for precision CNC milling work.
Built from premium solid carbide, the CR2033.090-S has CGS Tool’s original 55° high helix shape, which helps with chip evacuation and keeps cutting forces lower. The corner radius style bumps up durability too, because it eases stress concentration right at the cutting edge, so you get less chipping and a cleaner surface finish. Then the ZrN coating steps in, improving wear resistance, reducing built-up edge effects, and stretching tool life when you’re working with aluminum and other non-ferrous materials.
