Product Overview

The CGS Tool CR2057.015-S is a 3/4” diameter 2-flute solid carbide corner radius end mill, it’s made for high-speed machining of aluminum, other non-ferrous metals, plastics, and composite stuff. In the CR2000 Series, the Ferocious line, this tool gives you really strong cutting performance, better edge durability and a cleaner surface finish too, which is kind of what you want for tough CNC milling jobs.
It’s manufactured from quality solid carbide, the CR2057.015-S includes CGS Tool’s own 55° high helix geometry, and that helps with rapid chip evacuation. It also tends to lower cutting forces, so you can run more aggressive feed rates. The .015" corner radius, reinforces the cutting edge, which helps minimize chipping and stretches tool life while still keeping excellent dimensional accuracy. Plus, the ZrN coating adds wear resistance, reduces built-up edge formation, and supports smoother machining performance when you’re cutting aluminum and other non-ferrous materials.
