Product Overview

The CGS Tool CR2060.125-S is this 3/4” diameter, 2-flute solid carbide corner radius end mill made for high speed machining of aluminum, non ferrous metals, plastics, and composite materials. Kind of as part of the CR2000 Series Ferocious, it brings standout cutting performance, better edge durability, and very nice surface finish quality for tough CNC milling use.
Built from premium solid carbide, the CR2060.125-S uses CGS Tool’s original 55° high helix geometry, and that helps with quick chip evacuation, lowers cutting forces, and also backs more aggressive feed rates. The .125" corner radius gives extra strength to the cutting edge, so it can cut down on chipping, and keep tool life longer, while still holding that precise dimensional accuracy. With the extended 2-1/2" length of cut, you get solid reach for deep machining and contouring, plus the ZrN coating boosts wear resistance, helps reduce built-up edge happening, and improves overall machining performance especially in aluminum and other non ferrous materials.
