The CGS Tool CR2067.125-S is this 1" diameter, 2-flute solid carbide corner radius end mill; it's meant for high-performance cutting on aluminum, non-ferrous metals, plastics, and also composite materials. Like, as part of the CR2000 Series, called Ferocious, it sort of brings exceptional cutting efficiency, better edge endurance, and a pretty consistent surface finish for those more demanding CNC milling jobs.
Made from solid carbide, and from a premium grade, the CR2067.125-S includes CGS Tool original 55° high helix geometry , which is there to help with chip evacuation, lower cutting forces , and generally support more aggressive feed rates too. The .125" corner radius kind of reinforces the cutting edge, this helps reduce chipping and should stretch tool life, while still keeping dimensional accuracy where you need it. You also get an extended 2-1/2" length of cut and a 5" overall length , so it gives real reach for deep pocketing, profiling, and slotting. And then there’s the ZrN coating , which boosts wear resistance, cuts down built-up edge formation, and improves overall machining performance, especially in aluminum and other non-ferrous materials.
