Product Overview
The CGS Tool HV142-4375 has a 7/16” diameter 4-flute solid carbide ball end mill. It is made for serious, high-performance machining specifically in steels, and various alloys. It comes out of the Hi-Velocity (HV) Series, and it aims to give you a stronger , faster, and more precise result whether you’re doing roughing or final finishing work, both.
Built using premium micro-grain carbide, the HV142-4375 has a variable helix plus a variable index design, and it also carries an ALTiN coating for better heat resistance and longer tool life when you’re running high RPM. There’s also a free-cutting kind of approach that helps with surface finish and chip evacuation, it also lowers chatter, vibration and wear , so machinists can raise those feeds and speeds even more, without losing accuracy.
