The CGS Tool HV143-1001 has a 1” diameter , 4-flute solid carbide corner radius end mill , kinda built for high performance machining in steels and other alloys. It comes from the Hi-Velocity , HV Series, and it basically gives that unmatched strength, speed, precision too for roughing, along with finish work.
It is made from premium micro-grain carbide and the HV143-1001 uses a variable helix and variable index geometry. Then you get an ALTiN coating, which really helps with heat resistance and longer tool life, especially when you run it at high RPM. There’s also a free-cutting style that helps with better surface finishes, and it keeps chips moving out , without adding much vibration or unnecessary wear. So, machinists can push feeds and speeds even further, without losing that accuracy.
