Product Overview
The CGS Tool HV143-1253 has a 1/8” diameter 4-flute solid carbide corner radius end mill, built for high-performance cutting in steels and various alloys. It's part of the Hi-Velocity HV Series too, and it’s supposed to deliver extra strength, fast material removal, and clean precision for both roughing and finishing, depending on what you’re doing.
Made from solid micro-grain carbide, the HV143-1253 uses a variable helix plus variable index geometry and adds an ALTiN coating for serious heat resistance and longer tool life, especially at high RPMs. The free-cutting layout also helps with surface finish and chip evacuation, while reducing chatter plus tool wear, so machinists can raise the feeds and speeds further, without giving up accuracy.
