The CGS Tool HV243-2500 has a 1/4” diameter, 4 flute, solid carbide corner radius end mill made for high performance machining in steels and alloys. It’s part of the Hi-Velocity (HV) Series too, and it brings this strong, fast, very precise kind of performance for both roughing and finishing, you know, the usual jobs.
Made with premium micro grain carbide, the HV243-2500 has a variable helix , and a variable index geometry plus an ALTiN coating for solid heat resistance and longer tool life when you’re running high RPM. The free-cutting style helps with surface finish and chip evacuation, and at the same time it also reduces vibration , and wear. So machinists can push those feeds and speeds more, without losing accuracy, even when things get a bit aggressive.
