The CGS Tool HV243-5000 has a 1/2” diameter 4 flute, solid carbide corner radius end mill made for high performance machining, specially in steels and alloys. It’s part of the Hi-Velocity (HV) Series, and yeah it’s built to bring strong results for roughing , and finishing too, like strength, speed and precision that feels kind of unmatched.
Made from a nice premium micro grain carbide, the HV243-5000 has a variable helix plus a variable index form, then it gets the ALTiN coating for serious heat resistance and longer tool life when you run high RPM. The free-cutting approach helps with better surface appearance and chip evacuation, while also keeping vibration and wear more under control. This means machinists can push the feeds , and speeds further… without losing accuracy.
